Based off of the artist’s personal style, a stick and poke tattoo, and the album art for Pharrell’s In My Mind, the rat boy is meant to be used as an iconic fixture throughout the artist’s pages.

For me personally, I wanted the rat boy to resemble a children’s storybook character in their 20’s- cool and nostalgic, but not all too familiar, like how the 90’s feel to Gen Z.
