This is an experimental editorial practice piece using parts of an article by Amy De Klerk for Harper’s Bazaar. The aesthetics are intended to capture the relevance of time in fashion and trends. It reflects today’s nostalgic infatuation with Y2k styles mixed with experimental or futuristic elements, which is an acknowledgement that art may look back but it must keep moving forward. I created three magazine spreads using my interpretations of the article. The subtitle/ hook line on the first page is my own writing, but the body of the article was used in lieu of filler text. Close ups of texture as well as a mockup and moodboard are at the end of the page.
